2022 SKIN AND WOUND MANAGEMENT COURSE SPONSORED BY HQIC




Our HQIC hospitals were offered complimentary registrations ($2700 ea) at our 2022 SKIN AND WOUND MANAGEMENT COURSE the week of July 11 at MHA in Madison. As a result of that offering, a total of 18 hospital personnel sat for the certification study / exam while 3 returned for recertification. The course was led by Joy Hooper, a long-time much sought after nurse instructor with Wound Care Education Institute. Hospitals that took advantage of this educational offering were: 

Anderson Regional Medical Center, Baptist Memorial Hospital Yazoo, Franklin County Memorial Hospital, Greenwood Leflore Hospital, Highland Community Hospital, North MS Medical Center Eupora, North MS Medical Center Iuka, North MS Medical Center Tupelo, North Sunflower Medical Center, Rush Foundation Hospital, Scott Regional, Simpson General, South Central Regional Medical Center, South Sunflower County Hospital, Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, Tallahatchie General, Tyler Holmes Hospital, and UMMC Holmes County. 

The goal of HQIC is to improve the quality of healthcare in our state. Improving Mississippi includes healing Mississippi. The more Mississippi healthcare professionals with the WC certification, the better. Kudos to our healthcare professionals! WTG WCC!
