WEBINAR: CMS Hospital QAPI Worksheet & Standards
This program is a must-attend for any hospital that accepts Medicare or Medicaid since they must be in compliance with the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) section of the CMS worksheet.

The webinar will also cover the revised QAPI standards, including the high number of patient safety deficiencies.
The CMS QAPI worksheet is an excellent tool for helping hospitals know what to expect from a CMS survey. The worksheet is used by State and Federal surveyors on all survey activity in hospitals when assessing compliance with the QAPI standards. QAPI has become an increased area of focus in 2019. QAPI patient safety deficiencies and strategies for reducing these will also be discussed during this session.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Identify the different sections of the QAPI worksheet.
2. Explain why the Board is ultimately responsible for the QAPI program and how they must ensure adequate resources for performance improvement personnel.
3. Discuss the high number of QAPI deficiencies hospitals are receiving and ways to reduce and eliminate these in their facility.
