This program will show how to manage the many challenges facing nurse leaders in today’s health care environment. Today's VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous) world means leaders must know the various styles of leadership and learn to pivot from one to another. During this session, learn your dominant leadership style and how to leverage other styles to achieve needed outcomes. Knowing and understanding other leadership styles will help you become an agile leader. Our speakers will introduce emotional intelligence as a mechanism for becoming more adept in handling challenging situations.

Kathleen Lyman, RN
Kathleen Lynam began her distinguished 35-year career as a frontline nurse; she has since served as a chief nurse officer, coaching leader, and provider executive coach. She has leveraged her wealth of knowledge and experience to lead more than 35 hospital organizations toward improvement.
Leigh Bradley, PhD
Leigh Ann Bradley has an astonishing ability to assess and diagnose cultural and behavioral issues within and across organizations. Leveraging her diverse background, she has coached, mentored, and taught throughout her career and has walked the paths many health care leaders face today.
