OVERVIEW:
Reimbursement for all healthcare services has been under downward pressure for several years, resulting in decreased payments across the healthcare system to both hospitals and providers.
There are several factors that have contributed to the rapid rise in health-related costs. This webinar will explore economics of healthcare and show upcoming strategies and approaches for delivery models to help manage those costs.

MEET YOUR FACULTY

David A. Williams, CPA, MPH, FHFMA, is a partner at HORNE LLP in healthcare services and serves as leader of healthcare reimbursement and advisory services. With more than 30 years of collaborating with community hospitals, health systems and related healthcare entities, his recent focus is assisting organizations adapt to the evolving
care delivery models. He has experience assessing and re-positioning systems to meet the changing needs in the communities they serve.
Given his vast knowledge of federal, state and other reimbursement programs, he spends his time assisting health entities to maneuver the complexities of the changing reimbursement systems as they move from a volume-based foundation to one based upon outcomes and value to the patients and community. He also serves on HORNE’s Board of Directors. He is a Fellow of Healthcare Financial Management and a member of the National Board of Examiners, Editorial Review Board for HFM Journal, Region 9 Conference Committee, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Health Care Services Committee.
