BioSafety and Infectious Disease Awareness

The Deep South Biosafety Worker Training Program provides training to enhance biosafety and infection control procedures for healthcare and public safety workers throughout the Deep South (Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida panhandle). Integrated trainings offer information on infection control measures, other worker protection protocols, and practical, hands-on training using personal protective equipment in order to improve the skills and confidence of the workforce in responding to an Ebola or other infectious disease threats.
