WEBINAR: Home Health CoP Interpretive Guide

The long-awaited revised home health conditions of participation were effective January 13, 2018.

The importance of knowing the content and expectations for accreditation surveys is imperative whether your agency has deemed status through an accreditation organization or a survey by your state agency. This ninety minute webinar will provide a review of key aspects of the final version of the interpretive guidelines for the home health conditions of participation (HH CoP), the first changes in HH COP since 1996.

This program is intended for home CEO, CNO, health managerial staff, supervisors, compliance officers, quality improvement staff, clinical staff, medical directors, legal counsel and any other interested parties.

Judy Adams, RN, BSN, HCS-D , HCS-O, has been involved in home care and hospice services for more than 30 years, both as a service provider and later as a consultant and educator. Judy has served in nearly every position possible in a certified home health agency. For the last 15 plus years she has served as a consultant and educator for small and large home health agencies across the country in a variety of community settings. She is nationally certified in ICD-10-CM coding an in OASIS, home health’s standardized assessment tool. In addition to providing on-site consultation activities, Judy has contributed to countless articles and manuals related to home health and hospice operational and clinical operations especially in the areas of diagnosis coding, interpretation of OASIS items, and regulatory compliance. Judy has no real or perceived conflicts of interest that relate to this presentation.
