One of the most pressing challenges facing health care organizations is managing the transition to innovative payment models. Be conservative and risk being left behind, commit to being nimble and more risk-tolerant, or aim to be a market mover and set the pace of change in your region.
With participation in episode-based care models now becoming mandatory, some of these decisions are being made for providers. This session will examine the post-election outlook for bundled payments. Evidence supporting bundled payment strategies and outcomes from early adopters will be shared, along with insights from commercial payors and employers. Lastly, health policy implications will be discussed based on recent developments in the nation’s capital.
