Program Overview

There is much discussion around medical chart audits of health care organizations. This webinar will discuss best practices on ensuring hospitals and clinics are chart audit ready by covering medical necessity support, how to properly fill out the advanced beneficiary notice (ABN), coding, value-based care and the process auditors complete to review documentation.

Speaker Biographies

Amy Evanich, RN, MSN, is a health care consulting senior at Lutz with more than 10 years of professional experience in the health care industry. Her experience includes serving as lead nurse in a multi-specialty clinic and overseeing one of the largest Medicare Medical Review contracts in the country. Evanich specializes in the areas of medical chart reviews, appeal preparation, Medicare regulation guidance, interpretation and education, health care billing policies and procedures and revenue cycle consulting.
