Mississippi now has 15 more Wound Care Certified Healthcare Professionals!
In July 2022, 15 healthcare professionals from across the state came to MHA and took the Wound Care Certification exam through the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy® (NAWCO).
The registration fees for these individuals were provided through the HQIC funds (Hospital Quality Improvement Contractor).
On July 22, MCQW received word that 100% who tested were successful and are now Wound Care Certified (WCC). Please help us congratulate these 15 healthcare professionals who are now WCC:
Three additional class participants will test at a later date. They are Greenwood Leflore Hospital – Cheryl Small, Scott Regional Hospital – Kaitlyn Pinter, and South Sunflower County Hospital – Betsy Dawson.
During the same class, three class participants attended to recertify their WCC status. They are: Franklin County Memorial Hospital - Mike Goldbach, Highland Community Hospital – Katherine Foulon and Robin Woods.
