The MHA Society for Behavioral Health Services shall be to promote provider services in the field of behavioral health, address regulatory issues, promote advocacy and ethics in the field of behavioral health, and provide educational services for members of the Mississippi Hospital Association.

The Mississippi Hospital Association's Society of Health Care Engineers & Facility Managers, an affiliate of the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), is devoted to professionals who design, build, maintain, and operate hospitals and other health care facilities. Members include health care facility managers, engineers, architects, designers, constructors, infection control specialists, and others. The Mississippi chapter of the American Society of Healthcare Engineering provides quality education, advocacy, and outreach within our state’s health care community. The key to our success is the commitment of our members to foster healing health care environments for all Mississippians.

The MHA Society for Health Care Marketing & Public Relations sole purpose shall be to advance the development of effective marketing and public relations in hospitals, which hold active institutional membership in MHA, and health care organizations affiliated with MHA.

The MHA Society for Healthcare Quality purpose shall be to advance the development and role of professional practice of healthcare quality and patient safety by conducting educational programs and activities to strengthen and develop healthcare quality and patient safety programs and promote professional development; providing a medium for the interchanging of ideas; and providing a forum on healthcare quality issues and explaining the impact of these issues to other appropriate parties.

The purpose and mission of the MHA Society for Healthcare Risk Management shall be to advance the development and role of professional practice of healthcare risk management by conducting educational programs and activities to strengthen and develop healthcare risk management programs and promote professional development; providing a medium for the interchanging of ideas; and providing a forum on healthcare risk management issues and explaining the impact of these issues to other appropriate parties.

The mission of the MHA Society for Auxiliaries & Volunteer Services is to unite those persons employed and responsible for the volunteer service programs in Mississippi hospitals. We aim to increase knowledge and improve skills of members, to promote the exchange of ideas and information, and to plan and sponsor meetings and workshops.

The MHA Society for Human Resources Administration strives to provide a medium for the interchange of ideas and dissemination of information and materials relative to human resources administration; a platform for human resources directors within the hospital field from which to speak; and provide educational programs and activities to strengthen personnel administration.

The mission of the Mississippi Hospital Association's Organization for Nursing Leadership (MONL), an affiliate of the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), is to provide nurses with opportunities to improve healthcare in Mississippi through fostering the development of its members via education, evidence-based practice, and networking.

Membership is open to all registered nurses in Mississippi who are in management positions in health care institutions, who hold organizational roles in administration, or who are accountable for strategic, operational, and/or management outcomes in sites where health care is delivered. MONL is affiliated nationally with AONL.

The objectives of the Society shall be to advance the development of effective purchasing and materiel management in hospitals or similar institutions that hold active institutional membership in the Association by providing a medium for the interchange of ideas and dissemination of information and materials relative to Supply Chain Management; providing a platform for Supply Chain Management leaders within the healthcare industry from which to speak; promoting educational programs and activities to enhance the effectiveness of supply chain leaders within the healthcare industry; bring about close cooperation among Healthcare Supply Chain leaders in order to promote efficiency and productivity; and encourage and assist members to develop their knowledge and increase their effectiveness in Healthcare Supply Chain.
