WEBINAR: Where Governance Models Are Going: Trends To 2025

About the Webinar:

The future of governance is already here, it’s just not evenly distributed.  In the 90’s boards had to redesign fiduciary oversight to include greater attention to strategy. Board makeup, frequently criticized by regulators and consumers, has taken a turn toward younger and more diverse. The typical hospital board meeting is moving toward 75% strategy discussion and greater reliance on distributed forms of oversight to assure clinical quality. Hospital responsibility for population health greatly changes the traditional strategic focus for all hospitals.

Governance models are shifting rapidly in four domains that will be covered in this webinar:

  • Board makeup and competency mix become more critical and the face of the 2025 board will look quite different. How so and how to get there early?
  • Strategy investment in 2025 will near 75% of board dialogue and planning. How might a board's strategic rhythm enhance the future proofing of your hospital?
  • Governance process and the typical board meeting has drastically changed. Has your board caught up with the new models that will dominate the 2025 governance landscape?
  • Organizational oversight, the fiduciary responsibility of boards, has broadened to include organizational culture and enterprise risk management. What will boards be paying attention to in 2025 and how might they manage this increased responsibility?
