Join us for this “hands-on keyboard” course that provides a new user the basic skills to access Knowledge Center (KC) Hospital Incident Management System (HIMS) including how to log in and navigate the various functions within the application.  Students will be encouraged to use the application and practice hands-on experience using the Knowledge Center tools including creating incidents, creating or updating logs, sending messages, and responding to alerts among other KC functions.

This course provides an overview of the KC Status Board, creating and editing incidents, adding and modifying logs, viewing documents,  and use of Reference Tools.  Additionally, the course will present KC Action Requests and review how users can receive Actions Requests alerts and respond to them using KC.  Finally, this course will provide information regarding patient tracking system from mass-casualty incidents including receiving patient triage records from scene of incident to the destination hospital.
