The MHA Health, Research and Educational Foundation, Inc., chartered in 1970, is a not-for profit-foundation (501-c-3) whose purpose is to recruit and retain qualified personnel in health professions, improve Mississippi health-related educational programs, award scholarships/fellowships, promote research in health care fields, and make grants/donations for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes.
Within the Foundation are the MHA Education Department, the MHA Health Careers Center
, the MHA Hospital Emergency Preparedness Program and the Mississippi Office of Nursing Workforce.
