Trustees

Trustees know that the health care environment is constantly changing and in their role as a trustee they need to keep informed and up-to-date. The Mississippi Hospital Association recognizes that our hospital trustees need specialized tools, comprehensive training programs and other educational resources to help them make the critical decisions required to ensure affordable, quality health care for the communities they serve

The Mississippi Hospital Association provides a newsletter, Mississippi Trustee, on a quarterly basis to current trustees of our member facilities as well as on-going education through web-based courses. Additionally, a trustee educational break-out session is offered each year at the annual Leadership Conference. Each year, MHA offers trustees an award of excellence with the MHA Distinguished Hospital Trustee Award.
